Elevation gallery · G+2 house, 16 lights

One G+2 elevation, sixteen lights.

One SketchUp model of a G+2 house, rendered once and re-lit sixteen times. The building, street, trees and cars never move — only the sky, sun, weather and lights do.

The design

A ground-plus-two home with a full-height glazed strip framed in timber, a stone-clad tower volume, cantilevered balconies with glass railings and a slatted gate between brick-red pillars. A terrace pergola caps the composition.

Which light should you show the client?

  • Golden hour — the warmest, most "aspirational" read of timber and stone. A safe first image.
  • Midday — honest colours; useful when the client is choosing paint and cladding.
  • Blue hour / warm night — shows the lighting design: window glow, cove lights, gate lamps.
  • Monsoon — reassures clients about how the facade looks wet, and is memorable on social media.
  • Festival night — perfect for Diwali and housewarming campaigns.
