Elevation gallery · Tropical house, green plot

A tropical house elevation, in every light.

The same G+2 design as our street example, placed on a lush, tree-lined plot with a timber-pavilion style — and re-lit sixteen times.

One design, a greener world

This is the same SketchUp model as the G+2 house in 16 lights, rendered in a tropical style: old trees, broad-leaf planting, a brick-paved forecourt and soft filtered light. Floors, glazing, balconies and gate are identical — only the world around the house changes.

Designing elevations for green plots

  1. Let planting frame the facade. Trees and broad-leaf shrubs soften hard materials — keep the landscape in your brief.
  2. Use warm materials. Timber, brick-red pavers and stone read beautifully in dappled light.
  3. Plan for monsoon. Deep overhangs and covered balconies look — and work — better in the rain.
  4. Show dawn mist or soft morning. Green plots are at their best in soft, low light.

FAQ

Common questions

Can I show the same house on different plots?

Yes. In Visulixx, 'Try a different style' keeps your building exactly and changes the world around it — street, planting and neighbours.

Which style suits a tropical house render?

Styles with old trees and broad-leaf planting — such as the timber pavilion look used here — suit green plots; V-Real can also pick the neighbourhood automatically from your building.
